VIDEO: Orioles Announcers Seem Really Mad After Gleyber Torres Continues His Dominance of Baltimore
By Brendan Azoff
Gleyber Torres hit his seventh home run against of the season against the Baltimore Orioles on Monday night, and it is safe to say that the Orioles broadcast booth is getting tired of calling the Yankees infielder's homers.
Orioles broadcaster Gary Thorne could not believe that Torres hit another home run against Baltimore, and he let the public know that they should really stop pitching to him.
It is a hilarious reaction and one that everyone watching the game was thinking, considering Torres is hitting close to .500 against Baltimore in 8 games this year.
The Orioles have allowed 95 home runs already this year, with Gary Thorne having called most of them, and he was having none of it in the first game of this four-game set. The longtime Orioles broadcaster has seen his fair share of long balls at Camden Yards, but this one put him over the edge.
