The Baltimore Orioles may be fighting for the worst record in the sport right now, but the future could be very bright after drafting catcher Adley Rutschman with the No. 1 overall pick in last month's draft. Don't believe me? Check out his first home run in his minor league debut.

You don't need the outfield camera view for this bomb. All you need to hear is the sound coming off the bat, and boy, was that a no-doubter. I think the change from a metal bat to a wooden bat doesn't really matter.

To say it was a solid debut for the most heralded catching prospect since Joe Mauer is an understatement. He's showing off the pedigree that warranted him becoming the undisputed top pick in the draft.

Rutschman is beginning with the GCL Orioles, but he might not stay their long. If he keeps this up, expect the backstop out of Oregon State to be a fast riser through Baltimore's minor league pipeline.
