VIDEO: Orlando Scandrick Continues to Attack Eagles and Responds to Malcolm Jenkins on The Herd
By Chris Russo
Just four days after the Philadelphia Eagles released him, Orlando Scandrick is criticizing the Eagles once again, including safety Malcolm Jenkins. Scandrick appeared on The Herd with Colin Cowherd on Friday, and he wasn't shy with his condemnation of his former squad.
Earlier in the day, Scandrick was on another FS1 program, Undisputed, and criticized general manager Howie Roseman and Jenkins for a lack of accountability.
Scandrick said he doesn't believe anything Roseman says and also said, "Howie is one of the people that if [he] told me it was raining outside, I'd get some shorts just in case."
The 12-year veteran accused Roseman of a lack of accountability by calling his release "scapegoat-ish" after a 37-10 loss.
Scandrick called teammate Rasul Douglas a close friend and seemed to target Jenkins for not helping on the play against Stefon Diggs for which Douglas was criticized.
Either Scandrick is a disgruntled former employee, or there really is trouble in the Eagles' locker room.
The 32-year-old played just three games for the Eagles, logging seven tackles, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery-- which he returned for a touchdown. He was released Monday.
