VIDEO: Ozzie Albies Goes Yard Twice and Freddie Freeman Adds a Dinger to Extend Braves' Lead

Just when the sliding Pittsburgh Pirates had some momentum on the back of a Starling Marte three-run home run, spoilsport Ozzie Albies had to tread all over that positivity with a home run of his own. The Curacaoan second baseman launched his eighth home run of the year, an opposite field job off of struggling Pirates starter Alex McRae, to give the Atlanta Braves a 6-4 lead in the third inning.

Freddie Freeman proceeded to make things much worse, slamming a two-run home run to make it an 8-4 lead.

McRae, who had a 6.28 ERA in five career relief appearances, is having to eat up innings after starter Joe Musgrave was ejected from the game in the first inning. Safe to say McRae's outing isn't exactly going to plan.

And just for good measure, Ozhaino even added another one.

Things are just going from bad to worse in The Steel City. Meanwhile, the Braves are cruising along as they try to wrestle the top spot in the NL East away from the Phillies.
