VIDEO: Pablo Reyes Lifts Pirates With Walk-Off Winner Against the Reds
By Sam Dunn

Game, Buccos! After entering the bottom of the ninth inning Friday night trailing 2-1 against the division rival Reds, Pablo Reyes stepped up to the dish with a chance to be Friday night's hero. With Joe Musgrove just 90 feet away at third, a base knock was all that was needed. And that's exactly what Reyes served up for the Pirates.

He put more mustard on that than his team even needed. No doubt about it with the outfield playing shallow to keep open the possibility of a bang-bang play at the plate.
It's been a tough season for the Pirates, who have the second-worst record in the National League and have been far out of contention pretty much from the jump. But perhaps all the struggle makes this walk-off W all the sweeter for the Steel City faithful.
