VIDEO: Packers Head Coach Matt LaFleur Was Mic'd up for Game Against Raiders
By Chris Russo
The Green Bay Packers are winning big and they're having a lot of fun doing it, at least according to head coach Matt LaFleur. NFL Films mic'd up LaFleur for the Packers' beatdown of the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, and he was beaming with youth, enthusiasm and chemistry with the entire team, especially Aaron Rodgers.
LaFleur and Rodgers are showing the buddy-buddy relationship that we didn't see between AR12 and former Packers head coach Mike McCarthy. Fans out there have to love seeing that.
It's rare to see a head coach only four years older than a quarterback, but you know there's a good relationship when you can call your quarterback an "old man" and get away with it.
Clearly, Rodgers' performance is showing those results as well, which is the most important thing for the Packer offense. Rodgers became the first player in franchise history with a perfect passer rating after he threw for five touchdowns on the day, and added a rushing score. Things are going amazing right now in Green Bay, no doubt.
