VIDEO: Packers Locker Room Goes Crazy After Aaron Rodgers Receives Game Ball on Record-Setting Day
By Scott Rogust
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers had himself a game on Sunday afternoon against the Oakland Raiders. Rodgers completed 80.6% of his passes for 429 yards and five touchdowns on a perfect 158.3 passer rating, while notching an additional rushing score. Rodgers is now the fifth quarterback in NFL history to throw for over 400 yards and post a perfect passer rating on 30-plus attempts, but he's the first of those five to score six touchdowns. After the game, head coach Matt LaFleur presented the game ball to (who else) Rodgers, and his teammates lost their minds.
While the records are nice and all, LaFleur said it best. "The old man wins [them] one."
Packers fans were happy with the performance Rodgers provided them at Lambeau Field, but make no mistake about, NOBODY was as hyped as his teammates.
