VIDEO: Packers Prep for Wild Arrowhead Crowd by Pumping Chiefs Chop Anthem Into Practice Facility
By Jerry Trotta
The Kansas City Chiefs surprisingly disclosed that they weren't ruling Patrick Mahomes out of Sunday's mouth-watering showdown against the Green Bay Packers after he returned to practice on Wednesday. Despite that report, we wholeheartedly believe (and hope) that the Chiefs won't rush back their superstar quarterback. Should KC elect to give Mahomes another week to recover, the team will need the support of a boisterous Arrowhead Stadium crowd more than ever to get by the 6-1 Packers. However, Green Bay has reportedly been prepping for the hostile environment by pumping artificial crowd noise into their indoor practice facility this week.
Keep in mind that John Doran is some 100 yards away from the Don Hutson Center and the noise can be heard as clear as day.
Head coach Matt LaFleur has done a tremendous job in his first seven weeks at the helm, and this report will surely win over a few more Packers fans that weren't yet convinced of his potential.
This type of rehearsal is simply as good and elite as it gets.
