VIDEO: Packers QB Aaron Rodgers Somehow Threw a Perfect Pass With Both Feet off the Ground
By Karl Rasmussen
Aaron Rodgers had his best performance of the 2019 season on Sunday when he diced up the Oakland Raiders to the tune of five touchdown passes as well as a rushing score. Well, one insane play which may have been missed during the wild performance was a crazy pass from Rodgers to Jamaal Williams, in which Rodgers fired the dime while having both feet off the ground.
Rodgers unleashed a bullet through a collapsing pocket without either of his feet planted, and it was a bullseye to his running back, hitting him in stride on the numbers.
The difficulty behind that throw may be hard to detect at first glance, but when examining the play further, you realize just how incredible of a play that was.
And Rodgers' teammate, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, took to Twitter to comment on the ridiculousness of it.
As MVS points out, this is something you simply can't coach, and it probably wouldn't be wise to instruct kids on how to make plays like this. No, a play like this comes from pure creativity and poise while facing pressure in the pocket.
