If there's one thing that Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes love to feast on, among other things, it's exploiting the questionable coverage schemes of opposing defenses. And the Kansas City Chiefs duo was up to their normal shenanigans Saturday night against the San Francisco 49ers. Check out Showtime connecting with tailback Damien Williams on a swing route out of the backfield for a 62-yard touchdown to give KC an early first quarter lead:
3rd down? no problem, Mahomes gets it to Williams for 62-yard touchdown.

For some reason they had DL Solomon Thomas in coverage on Williams on a wheel route - big mismatch.pic.twitter.com/3rQeTYi4h0
As easy as you like.
With Mahomes, he just needs to enough time in the pocket to pull off a quick flick of the wrist. After that, the magic unfolds.
As for San Fran, maybe not have a defensive lineman covering a speedy RB out of the backfield? Just a thought.
