VIDEO: Patrick Mahomes Hits Sammy Watkins for Huge 68-Yard TD to Kick off Chiefs Season

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs wasted no time picking up right where they left off in their season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Mahomes threw a dart over the middle of the field to wide receiver Sammy Watkins, who slithered through the Jacksonville defense and broke away for a 68-yard touchdown.

Watkins might have struggled during his first season in Kansas City and often gets lost in the fold given the multitude of weapons that the Chiefs can throw out, but he is every bit as dynamic as All-Pro deep threat Tyreek Hill or speedy rookie Mecole Hardman.
Jacksonville gave Mahomes problems last year, but he looks more confident against them this time around and has the Chiefs off to a terrific start in 2019.
