VIDEO: Patriots Legend Ty Law Unveils Pro Football Hall of Fame Bust During Emotional Ceremony
By Karl Rasmussen
Ty Law was one of the best cornerbacks to play in the NFL, and on Saturday night he was inducted into the Hall of Fame. He was on stage to receive his bust, and upon unveiling the statue he was clearly overwhelmed with emotion.
Law was all cool upon entering the stage, even doing a small dance while walking towards his bust. But once the sheet was removed, the emotions kicked in.
The former New England Patriot is officially enshrined in Canton, after a 15-year career that saw him log 53 career interceptions and 108 pass breakups.
The 45-year-old hung up the boots back in 2009, after finishing out his career with the Denver Broncos. He was drafted in the first round of the 1995 NFL Draft by the Patriots, where he starred until 2005 when he joined the Jets for one year. He then spent two seasons with Kansas City before moving to Denver.
The five-time Pro Bowler earned All-NFL First Team honors twice in his career, and was a two-time Super Bowl champion.
