The St. Louis Cardinals surrendered runs to the Atlanta Braves in Game 1 of the National League Division Series that were self-inflicted by errors. In the top of the eighth inning, Cardinals slugger Paul Goldschmidt took Luke Jackson's first pitch all the way to the second deck of left field for a 445-foot home run to cut St. Louis' deficit to 3-2.
