VIDEO: Paul Goldschmidt Gives the Cardinals a 10th-Inning Lead With Huge Grand Slam
By Karl Rasmussen

The St. Louis Cardinals' major offseason acquisition, Paul Goldschmidt, has not lived up to the billing just yet. The slugger hasn't played up to his lucrative contract, as he had just a .759 OPS entering Monday's game. Well, he may be starting to heat up at the dish, as he cleared the bases with a grand slam against the Pirates.

And of course, the grand slam came at a critical juncture, launching it in the 10th inning of a 2-2 ball game, likely securing the win against their division rivals.
This is the Paul Goldschmidt fans were expecting when the Cards acquired him, and hopefully this guy is here to stay.
