By Ryan Flores

It looks like Goldy is returning to All-Star form. In the bottom of the third inning, St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Paul Goldschmidt completed destroyed a home run off of Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Zack Greinke on Sunday. The mammoth homer gave the Cards a commanding 4-0 lead.

Goldschmidt hasn't quite been what every Cardinals fan hoped he would be, as he entered Sunday's game hitting .249 with 16 homers. However, he's been turning up the heat in the month of July, collecting three homers and eight runs batted in through just nine games. He's clearly getting into a groove at the plate.
