VIDEO: Paul Pierce Finally Confirms Rumor About Pooping Pants During 2008 NBA Finals
By Michael Luciano

That famous image of Paul Pierce being rolled off the court in the NBA Finals in a wheelchair is like Donovan McNabb throwing up in the Super Bowl. At the end of the day, duty called.
It's hard to imagine things be so bad in that department that you needed to be escorted to the bathroom in a wheelchair during an NBA Finals game, but at least we finally have a explanation.
Then again, maybe this could have all been hiding in plain sight. Former Celtics guard Tony Allen's reaction might confirm Pierce's story.
we should have known

As silly as that whole ordeal looks and sounds, it solidified Pierce as an NBA and Boston legend when he made his triumphant return to lead the Celtics to victory.

Hopefully the McNabb backstory, among other legendary sports fables, comes to light in the same manor. For all of us, however, let's hope it has a more G-rated explanation.
