VIDEO: Pelicans Fans Relentlessly Boo Anthony Davis in His Return to New Orleans

Anthony Davis predicted the boo birds would be out at Smoothie King Arena on Wednesday. And he was exactly right. Right from the moment Davis was introduced in the starting lineups, boos started cascading down from the stands.

And it only got worse from there. Every time the ball was in Davis' hands, sections of the crowd would burst out with the boo birds.
That didn't deter the Lakers from going to their star forward, as he was a key component in the offense in the first quarter.
And they clearly weren't taking up too much space in AD's head either, as his first bucket of the game was an alley-oop slam from LeBron James.

Remember when you could cheer for that finish, Pelicans fans?
While fans didn't offer him a warm welcome, they may end up regretting that. The last thing Pelicans fans want to see is AD drop 40 points on them, but they might just motivate him to do so.
