Just a few days after setting the New York Mets single-season record for home runs, the Polar Bear was back at it again. Checkout the rookie phenom belt dinger No. 43 of 2019 in the first inning Sunday night as the Amazins go for a sweep of the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park.
On top of gifting Marcus Stroman and Co. an early lead, Alonso joined Mike Trout for the Major League lead for big fly's. Fasten your seatbelts, folks, because the race for the HR crown is shaping up to be a real humdinger.
