VIDEO: Peyton Barber Almost Got Jameis Winston Murdered With Disgraceful Block Attempt

Jameis Winston has gotten railed for his performance thus far, but Thursday night's win over the Carolina Panthers should help quiet the criticism. And so should this clip of Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Peyton Barber, who decided to disregard his blocking assignment on this play action, which nearly got Winston decapitated.

Jameis is sure going to look bad if he's getting that kind of protection. Panthers linebacker Jermaine Carter was flying in there at full speed, but come on man, you gotta at least lay a pad on him.
Barber got the last laugh in the end, though, rushing for what ended up being the game-winning touchdown. This week's film session won't be kind to the former Auburn Tiger.
