On Wednesday night, the Philadelphia Phillies found themselves down 4-0 against the rival New York Mets. Despite that deficit, the Phils rallied back to tie things up in the seventh inning thanks to a signature Mets bullpen implosion. The game entered the 10th inning at the 4-4 deadlock. With Roman Quinn and JT Realmuto on base, Jay Bruce walked things off for Philadelphia with a double over centerfielder Juan Lagares to defeat the Mets.

As if the Mets faithful haven't gotten used to losing recently, they saw their former free-agent signing in Bruce walk things off for their hated rival. The Phillies came off an embarrassing sweep against the Miami Marlins this past weekend, and now have gained a form of retribution at the expense of the team in blue and orange.

The bamboo provided no doubt for the Phillies, while Mets fans continue to doubt the bullpen and manager Mickey Callaway.
