VIDEO: Pirates Outfielders Don't Even Move as Pete Alonso Crushes His 34th Home Run

On Friday, New York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso received his reward for winning the Home Run Derby, a $1 million check. Well, it's fitting that in the sixth inning of Friday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates, Alonso launched a ball into Citi Field's second deck.

Alonso has struggled after the All-Star break, but perhaps his 34th bomb of the year is a sign that he's breaking out of it.
The outfielders knew from the moment they heard the crack of the bat that the ball was not coming back, and they didn't even give chase.
