VIDEO: PJ Fleck Crowdsurfs in Minnesota Locker Room After Upset Win Over Penn State
By Chris Pyo

No. 17 Minnesota upset No. 4 Penn State 31-26 today to effectively end any hopes the Nittany Lions had of making the College Football Playoffs while also bolstering their own national resume. After the game, head coach PJ Fleck, who himself was handsomely rewarded with a new contract extension just four days ago, jumped into the arms of his players and started crowdsurfing around the locker room.

Who can blame the guy for celebrating like this? The 38-year-old coach just signed a massive contract extension and immediately made sure to prove Minnesota's administration right by leading the Gophers to their first win over a top-five team in over 20 years.

On the other hand, James Franklin and Penn State continue to fall apart in meaningful games, making the CFP committee's decision to rank them above Clemson look more questionable by the day.
Fleck and the Golden Gophers fought hard for four quarters and walked away with a statement victory on their home field. And seeing the beaming head coach crowdsurf was the icing on the cake for the squad.
