Heartwarming doesn't even begin to describe this moment you're about to see. Sure, Washington Nationals fans were thrilled beyond belief when Juan Soto's 2-run double gave the Nats a 5-2 lead against Houston and Gerrit Cole in Game 1 of the Fall Classic. But, for the team's academy in the Dominican Republic, imagine the reactions seeing their country's hero be a star in the World Series?

That's about as real and pure of a celebration as you'll ever see. With the prospects gathered around a TV to watch the at-bat, Soto delivered. Everyone in the room went nuts.

Soto's brilliance thus far in the postseason has set Washington D.C. on fire, and inspired hope back home in the Dominican Republic to the millions of people watching him. You gotta love it.
