VIDEO: Quandre Diggs Facetimed a Super Excited Tyler Lockett After Trade to Seahawks
By Scott Rogust

On a day dominated by wide receiver trades, the Seattle Seahawks made a move to bolster their defensive secondary. The Seahawks acquired safety Quandre Diggs and a 2021 seventh-round pick from the Detroit Lions in exchange for a 2020 fifth-round selection. While Seattle was certainly stoked to land a player like Diggs, no one, and we mean no one, was happier than receiver Tyler Lockett. Why's that? Lockett and Diggs are best friends, apparently! Lockett posted a video of his FaceTime call with Diggs after the deal went down, and it shows how elated he truly was.

Who cares about draft picks, after all?! We got a hard hitter!
Lockett, in the middle of a resurgent and sometimes physically impossible season of creating highlights, has to be pumped to get some defensive support.
Finally watching the #Seahawks-#Ravens game and Tyler Lockett's touchdown is just ridiculous. What a play. pic.twitter.com/K4CrXDARoU

While Lockett was elated at the move, the same can't be said for the Lions. Numerous Lions players, including cornerback Darius Slay and defensive tackle Damon Harrison, were shocked by the front office's decision to flip Diggs.
The decision in Detroit was intriguing, considering the organization signed Diggs to a three-year contract extension last season and named him captain.
One team's loss is another team's treasure. In this case, Tyler Lockett is the big winner, as he gets to team with his best friend.
