On Wednesday night, San Francisco Giants pitcher Jeff Samardzija carried a no-hitter for the better part of five-plus innings against a powerful Boston Red Sox batting order. The pitching feat for Samardzija came to a crushing end in the bottom of the sixth inning, as AL MVP candidate Rafael Devers hit a solo shot to right field to cut Boston's deficit to 4-1.

That was Devers 30th homer of the year, while tallying his 108th RBI and 119th run on the year. Not bad for the 22-year-old, whose future looks very bright Boston.
