VIDEO: Raiders' Trent Brown Made Antonio Brown Look Like a Shrimp on Latest Episode of 'Hard Knocks'
By Adam Weinrib
When the New England Patriots jettison an offensive lineman, or let someone else pay him, it's fair to assume he'll backslide without the useful advice of Dante Scarnecchia. But you can't teach size, and Trent Brown (who inked a four-year, $66 million pact this offseason) has that in droves. That innate advantage was on display during this week's "Hard Knocks" episode, when a truly beastly Brown stood up to help Antonio Brown adjust his pads, and blocked out the sun.
Talk about The Black Hole!!! Am I right?? Please confirm that I am right.
Brown looked like a villain from an Anime, eating a magic bean and expanding to 50 times his original size. This was like if one of those sponge toys that experience rapid growth when you dunk them in water was a highly-paid NFL lineman.
We're not sure what Jon Gruden and the Raiders have in store for us in 2019 (yes we are, we're sure, it will be bleak), but at the very least, they employ a real-life kindly giant who just wants to help his teammates dress. Say what you will about Oakland, but they've met the "one mesmerizing GIF per season" minimum.
