VIDEO: Rams and Raiders Players Throw Punches During Brawl at Joint Practice
By Parker White
The Los Angeles Rams and Oakland Raiders had a joint practice today at training camp, and what is certainly capable of happening, happened. While the Rams were on offense and the Raiders were on defense, punches were thrown and the two teams converged on each other. Take a look for yourself:
The producers at HBO's Hard Knocks have to be thrilled this happened. I'd say the ratings will be going up for the episode when this happens.
Whether you want to call it a fight or brawl, it was broken up pretty quickly. According to people who saw this up close, Raiders rookie Tyler Roemer and Rams pass-rusher Josh Carraway were at the center of this altercation.
When this all started to go down, Rams head coach Sean McVay ran over from another field to break it up. I don't know how much he kept the peace, as it was pretty much finished by then and the two teams were back to playing not long thereafter.
