In Sunday's MLB Futures Game, the National League team held a 2-0 lead for the majority of the event. However, the American League received a lifeline in the form of Texas Rangers prospect Sam Huff, who hit a game-tying, two-run blast in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Prospects participating in the Futures Game have one goal, and that's to make a lasting impression on the fans, and their respective teams. Sam Huff certainly opened some eyes in the Rangers organization with this clutch homer. Some say his raw power rivals Joey Gallo's (???), and this monumental blast definitely confirmed a bit of those lofty comparisons.
