VIDEO: Rangers' Rougned Odor Steals Home on the Athletics Like an Absolute Maniac

In this era of launch angle, analytics, and home runs, the stolen base, much less steals of home, have been going the way of the dinosaur in recent years. Determined to keep all those small ball dreams alive, however, is Texas Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor, who plays the game with admirable reckless abandon. Odor completed a straight steal of home, taking advantage of a slow pitching motion from Oakland A's left-hander Ryan Butcher.

Odor stole his fifth base of the season in grand style. That run cut the A's lead to 8-6.

Odor has only 56 career steals against 44 times caught stealing, so he's hardly Rickey Henderson on the basepaths. However, Odor's veteran savvy and ability to take advantage of the glacial pace at which Butcher plays worked like a charm for Chris Woodward and the Rangers.

You do you, Rougned. Be it stealing home or punching out Jose Bautista, you never know what antics he'll get into next.
