VIDEO: Rangers Slugger Sam Huff Gets Doused With Ice Bath After Winning Futures Game MVP

Tie up a game that's presumed lost, make a sweet scoop at first, and you know what? That's enough to win MVP honors in a game otherwise dominated by pitching. Texas' Sam Huff has the raw power to rival many of his Dallas counterparts (and a championship name, sharing the sequence of letters with a legendary New York Giant). His monstrous blast tied the NL in the seventh (and final) inning of Sunday's Futures Game, sending the contest to a scoreless eighth. After the deadlock was official, Huff's slam got him the game's most valuable honors, and a valuable ice bath as well.

That's got to feel good.

Huff, Texas' 21st best prospect, now has some serious ammo under his belt while he waits for his big league time to come.

He just has to dry off a bit.
