VIDEO: Raptors Executive Masai Ujiri Receives 'MVP' Chants During Toronto's Ring Ceremony
By Adam Weinrib

The Toronto Raptors really, truly are NBA champions. And though not every key member of their title-winning roster was on hand to get the hardware before their season opener Tuesday night, the real MVP was present: President of Basketball Operations Masai Ujiri, who helped bring in Kawhi Leonard, Danny Green, Pascal Siakam, and Kyle Lowry, among many others. After securing an upset victory over the hobbled Warriors, Ujiri got a king's welcome before tipoff against the Pelicans on Tuesday night.

Whatever happens from hereon out, Ujiri delivered the ULTIMATE prize, and that will never be forgotten.
The players executed. His long-shot bets paid off. Everything came together.
And now, the whole world is ready to focus on Toronto once more, for one night only. They've got front and center billing against the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night, grabbing the hardware on national television.

When Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green return, they'll get their rings, too. For now, we'll celebrate the men in the building, and it all starts with the architect.
