VIDEO: Rashan Gary Workout Footage Should Get Packers Fans Hyped
By Michael Luciano

The Green Bay Packers didn't get a ton of production from 2019 No. 12 overall pick Rashan Gary this past season, but the physical freak that he is can't be kept down for too long. Gary is already putting in the work that could help him breakout in 2020, as the speed, strength and athleticism that made the Packers salivate when they drafted him at No. 12 is already on display.
We’ve reached one of my favorite parts of the offseason: Workout video szn.

Gary recorded just 21 tackles and two sacks last season, as Preston Smith and Za'Darius Smith ate up most of the snaps on the edge, while Kenny Clark held down the fort inside at defensive tackle.
Still, Packers GM Brian Gutekunst didn't pick him No. 12 overall to have him remain as a backup, and the expected departure of Kyler Fackrell could open up a hole that Gary could fill.
Expect a major spike in his sack numbers next season.
The #Packers made the conscious effort to bring Rashan Gary along slowly during his rookie season. But in 2020 it’s time for him to see more of the field #GoPackGo https://t.co/kVDE3vIDQw

The former Michigan Wolverine might not have set the world on fire as a rookie, but all signs are pointing to the former No. 1 recruit in the country flipping the switch in 2020.
