VIDEO: Reds' Nick Senzel and Jose Peraza Shaken up in Scary Collision in Right Field
By Joey Mauceri

Nick Senzel has been sensational this year for the Reds, the rookie slugger has played all around the diamond and has shown all of his tools both at the plate and in the field. He continued his hot hitting on Wednesday after he slugged a first inning homer off of Indians starter Zach Plesac. Things took a dark turn for the 23-year-old in the top of the second however, as he and Jose Peraza collided in the outfield while pursuing a blooper.

Thankfully, both @Reds are alright and will remain in the game. pic.twitter.com/d9pqOqGsIx
Senzel remained down on the field for several minutes being looked at by the trainer. Luckily for the Reds, the young phenom remained in the game, so things certainly could have been way worse.
Outfield collisions can be incredibly scary. We saw just last month a frightening collision between Cubs' outfielders Kris Bryant and Jason Heyward, though both were ultimately okay. Senzel and Peraza both dodged a bullet here, as the results of their impact could have been severe.
