By Jerry Trotta
Eugenio Suarez has been nothing short of spectacular for the Cincinnati Reds this year, proving that his All-Star campaign from 2018 wasn't a fluke. Well, in case you were curious, the 28-year-old infielder has remained scorching hot in the final week of the regular season as he socked home run No. 49 against the Brewers on Wednesday night. In doing so, Suarez etched his name in MLB history by notching the most dingers in a single year for a National League third baseman.
In other news, Suarez is now just one homer shy of tying the Mets' Pete Alonso for the MLB lead. Does he have enough left in the tank to hoist the HR crown?
