NFL referees seem to be doing their best to make the entire football world despise them. In their latest display of ineptitude, the officials initially awarded Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams a catch despite the fact that at least half of his left foot was clearly out of bounds.

Black cleats on white turf apparently isn't enough to help the referees see things that are right in front of them.

This, of course, comes on the heels of the insane reversed fumble from the Fiesta Bowl. It's been a horrible weekend for refs, both in the college game and in the pros.
