VIDEO: Remembering the Greatest Home Run Call of All Time in Honor of Manny Ramirez's Comeback

Taiwan's Chinese Professional Baseball League is in the spotlight due to being one of the only professional sports league to play games during the coronavirus pandemic. The league has gained a ton of publicity, especially since it's an alternative for MLB fans that are in desperate need for some baseball. As if that weren't enough to grow the game, former Cleveland Indians, Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Manny Ramirez is planning a baseball comeback in Taiwan at the age of 48. We're absolutely hyped by this news, and it got us thinking about the time Ramirez hit a homer as a member of the EDA Rhinos in 2013. While the home run was special, the call was epic!
For those of you in need of translation, the play-by-play announcer said, "this ball is long gone just like the ex-girlfriend who will never return! Home Run!" Come on, no call is ever, ever going to top this one.
Ramirez jumped over to the CPBL following failed stints with the Chicago White Sox and Tampa Bay Rays. In 49 games with the Rhinos, Ramirez batted .352 with an OPS of .977, while accumulating eight home runs and 43 RBI.
The CPBL has gained a huge influx of fans during this global pandemic, and they have the opportunity to add additional eyes to their product by bringing back Ramirez. It's an absolute no brainer.
