VIDEO: Rex Ryan Brought to Tears by Inspirational Anthony Lynn Segment on ESPN
By Michael Luciano
Los Angeles Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn is using his platform within the NFL as a springboard for his philanthropic endeavors, which included traveling to Tanzania in the offseason to help open a school. ESPN analyst Rex Ryan, who had Lynn as either his running backs coach, offensive coordinator, or assistant head coach for his entire NFL coaching career spanning his time with the Jets and Bills, couldn't contain his emotions when asked about the kind of person Lynn is.
Lynn, who has a 25-19 record as a head coach in the NFL, clearly values giving back to those less fortunate then himself more than any adulation he can accrue as a football coach.
Hard to find a finer man to lead a football team.
Lynn's impact in Tanzania is hundreds of times more important than any football game he'll ever win. Not only is he ones of the best coaches in pro football, but Lynn's altruism and selflessness make him a shining example of how to conduct yourself off the football field.
This is assuredly not the last major charitable act we will see from Lynn in the near future.
