VIDEO: Ric Bucher Claims the Kyrie Irving Sweepstakes is Down to the Lakers and Nets
By Will Fowler

Just because it's time for the NBA Finals doesn't mean we can't discuss free agency. In fact, one huge rumor broke Tuesday morning when FS1 NBA analyst Ric Bucher went on The Herd and said the Kyrie Irving sweepstakes is down to the Los Angeles Lakers and the Brooklyn Nets.
This is noteworthy because there's one team that Bucher didn't mention that had frequently been named in Kyrie rumors: the New York Knicks.
Many Knick fans saw Kyrie Irving as a lock to come to the Garden in 2019, but now it seems that may remain a pipe dream. Instead, there's a chance he could take a quick subway trip to the Barclays Center, where the Brooklyn Nets play their home games.
Updated odds for what team Kyrie Irving will sign with this offseason:
— Odds Shark (@OddsShark) May 28, 2019
Knicks +105
Nets +260
Celtics +300
Lakers +300
Clippers +1200
Mavericks +1600 pic.twitter.com/bDBwOxtMhp
The Lakers have also been a frequently rumored option, as a reunion with LeBron James seems increasingly more likely by the day.
Of course, this could mean absolutely nothing at the moment. But for Knicks fans, after missing out on a top-2 pick, they could've used some good news. Not so much.
