VIDEO: Rob Gronkowski Claims He's Had 20 Concussions and 'Blacked Out' From 5 in Latest Interview
By Parker White
New England Patriots fans are still holding out hope that recently retired tight end Rob Gronkowski will return to the football field. Even Gronk is having fun with the whole ordeal, dropping subtle hints on social media, though they're not relative to his comeback. And that makes a lot more sense, because after this latest interview and the info he willingly gave, it might be best if he stays on the sidelines and sticks with highlighting the benefits of CBD.
Twenty concussions? How many of those made the Patriots' weekly injury reports?
At the end of the day, it's Gronk's call if he's going to put the pads back on and return to the field. However, if he's truly suffered 20 concussions, he might as well remain in retirement. He's proved enough during his playing career.
Gronkowski is one of the most dominant offensive players in league history. It would be a shame if he continued to play this gladiator sport and jeopardize his future health even more than he already has.
