VIDEO: Rob Gronkowski Jokingly Reveals When He'll Make His Patriots Comeback
By Chris Pyo
Watching the Patriots demolish the Pittsburgh Steelers 33-3 must have made Rob Gronkowski jealous of all the fun his former teammates are having. While Gronk's clearly having a great time in retirement, it would not be a surprise to anyone if he made a return to the Patriots sometime in the future-- and even if he's joking in the video below posted by Barstool Sports, it's scary to even imagine what the defending champs would look like with him lining up with Antonio Brown and Josh Gordon come playoff time.
Gronkowski retired at the end of last season at the age of 29 after winning another Super Bowl title. While many were shocked at his decision and did not initially believe him, later reports about his injuries allowed much of the discussion behind his decision disappear.
Gronkowski recently posted a picture on Instagram of him shirtless in front of the Patriots' Lombardi trophies, and he's looking like he has another five years of football left in him.
One thing's certain: Gronk definitely has more spikes left in him.
Mark those calendars for Week 14 just in case.
