VIDEO: Rob Ninkovich Claims He'd Take Tua Tagovailoa Over Lamar Jackson Like a True Maniac
By Michael Luciano
Former New England Patriots pass rusher Rob Ninkovich is the most recent former player to take a crack at being an NFL analyst on ESPN. In one of his first appearances on the network, Ninkovich showed that he is more than capable of hitting the company mandated hot take quota. Ninkovich is extremely bullish on Miami Dolphins rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, and he claimed he would rather have the Hawaiian quarterback on his team over Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, fresh off an MVP season in Year 2.
Seems like Ninkovich is fitting in right in with the guys over at ESPN.
Tagovailoa was an unbelievable phenom that pushed a stone age Alabama offense into the 21st century, but the fact that Ninkovich can overlook Jackson, the 2019 MVP, is baffling.
The fact that winning an MVP and going 14-2 last season hasn't done much in the way of getting rid of the Lamar haters is simply mind-boggling. Right now, anyone who takes an injured rookie over an MVP is simply spewing hot air.
