VIDEO: Rob Ryan Dropping Back and Throwing the Football During Practice is Amazingly Hilarious
By Parker White
Are we sure Rob Ryan should be the inside linebackers coach for the Washington Redskins? Based off his quarterback drop and throwing motion, maybe he should work with the offense a little. In all seriousness, Ryan simulating as the QB to coach his linebackers is pure gold, and I hope we see more of this. Take a look, you won't regret it:
You may never again witness a quarterback drop back in the pocket with such quickness and grace. And while he was throwing to his linebackers, he led his target with utmost precision.
How did he fare while throwing from the end zone?
An absolute bullet.
Yeah, he might be sacked in the end zone for a safety if that was at real game speed-- that is if the defense could bring him down.
Honestly, that's not bad for a 56-year-old defensive coach who should probably lay off the junk food. And while he's no dual-threat, Ryan is able to thread the needle with a pass.
If Washington has an injury to Case Keenum or any of their quarterbacks, they may well consider putting Rob in under center. There are worse options out there!
