By Scott Rogust

Scary news to come out of Fenway Park on Wednesday night. During the Colorado Rockies road game against the Boston Red Sox, Trevor Story and Raimel Tapia collided with each other in left field when trying to catch a flyball in order to get the final out of the ninth inning.
I will never ever ever ever understand how Major League Baseball players don’t call each other off. I see this happen way too often. #RedSox @RedSoxCLNS pic.twitter.com/L9bBdlAXiF

Story would leave the game immediately after the collision, being replaced by Pat Valaika. The belief is that Story suffered an apparent knee injury on the collision. As for Tapia, he would remain in the game; he wasn't nearly as shaken up as Story.
We will continue to update you on Trevor Story once more details are revealed.
Fenway's got to be an absolute bear for inexperienced players like these Rockies, and the rust showed here; eventually, Boston walked this one off 6-5.
