After completing a four-set victory over Marton Fucsovics on Sunday to advance to the quarterfinals of the Australian Open, Roger Federer engaged in an interview with tennis legend John McEnroe to preview his upcoming opponent, Tennys Sandgren. To say that the Swiss superstar could not shake the hilarity of the situation would be an understatement.

If it wasn't confirmed before, it certainly is now: prior to this interview, Federer had never heard of Sandgren, which comes as a bit of a surprise considering how intently the 20-time grand slam champion analyzes his opponents.
However, Federer deserves a pass here. The legend has played thousands of grueling tennis matches in his career, and finally, at age 38, he gets to meet his maker. This should be a good one.
