Ronald Acuña plays with reckless abandon, but sometimes that comes with consequences. The Braves outfielder tried to steal second base to jumpstart a rally against the Phillies, but slammed into Jean Segura in a violent collision.

Both players were initially deemed okay, but Acuña was eventually removed by Brian Snitker. This could all just be precautionary, but we don't have any more information to pass along at this time.
After the scary collision, Acuña stayed in the game to run the bases but has now been pulled from game when #Braves went back to the field. Charlie Culberson now in RF.

The Braves have dealt with enough injury issues of late, with Nick Markakis expected to be out until September at the earliest. The loss of Acuña would prove even more severe as the Braves try to hold off the Nationals and Phillies in the NL East.
