VIDEO: Ronald Acuña Hilariously Smacks Orlando Arcia's Hand After He Applies Tag for Too Long
By Karl Rasmussen

One of the trends circulating the MLB as of late is fielders trying to get a cheap out on a baserunner. Fielders are holding their tags for far longer in hopes the baserunner will step off the bag and be called out. That was the case during the Brewers-Braves clash on Friday, but Ronald Acuña Jr. wasn't having any of it.

Orlando Arcia tried to pull a fast one on Acuña, holding his tag for an extremely long time, but the Braves' phenom was not to be fooled. When the Brewers' shortstop did not relent on holding the tag, Acuña took matters into his own hands and started smacking Arcia's glove until he gave up.
Fortunately Acuña was paying attention and able to keep his hand on the bag while Arcia was up to his tricks.
