VIDEO: Royals' Jorge Soler Ties Mike Moustakas' Single-Season Record With 38th Homer

A little bit of history has just been made at Kauffman Stadium on Friday night. And it just so happens to have featured in a clash between two of MLB's bottom-feeders -- the Kansas City Royals and Baltimore Orioles. DH Jorge Soler erupted in the first inning for his 38th home run of 2019 for KC, tying him with Mike Moustakas for the Royals' single-season record.
Officially in the record books.

A genuine moon shot for the 27-year-old. Would you expect anything less from a free-swinger like Soler?
With roughly a month of regular season ball left, we'll hazard a guess and say that Soler will have the club record all to himself before too long.
