VIDEO: Royce Freeman Follows the Blockers and Scores 1-Yard TD to Get Broncos on the Board First
By Ryan Giglio

Royce Freeman and the Denver Broncos struck first on Thursday as the second-year running back followed his blockers and muscled his way through the defense for a one-yard touchdown. The Broncos took an early 6-0 lead midway through the first quarter thanks especially to the blocking efforts of lineman Garrett Bolles.

Unfortunately, the Broncos decided to be a bit too bold and go for a two-point conversion, which was dramatically denied by KC's defense.
Denver has won its last two games while the Chiefs have lost their last two. That means a Broncos win will put the two teams in a three-way tie with the Raiders for first place in the AFC West.
