VIDEO: Russell Westbrook Throws Down Massive Dunk Against the Magic

The Houston Rockets have jumped out to a 16-8 record across the first two months of the NBA season, but it has been no thanks to the play of Russell Westbrook, who has been as erratic as ever thus far. As is often the case with the former MVP, however, he'll manage to (temporarily) win back our adoration with a few instances of individual brilliance. That's exactly what happened in the first quarter against the Magic on Friday night as Brodie uncorked his signature tomahawk slam after crossing up two Orlando defenders.

Look out below! That's the Westbrook we know and love.

Kudos to DJ Augustin, who made a tremendous business decision in vacating the premises as soon as he saw Russ make eyes with the rim. The former MVP attacks the rim as hard as anyone in the league, and interfering with that is not in anyone's best interest.
