VIDEO: Russell Wilson and D.K. Metcalf Look Completely in Sync at Seahawks Camp
By Michael Luciano

NFL teams really let DK Metcalf fall into the second round and allowed Pete Carroll and the Seahawks to pounce on him? After receiving top 10 hype for months, concerns about Metcalf's route-running pushed him to the late second round of the 2019 draft, where Seattle picked him 64th overall. Metcalf and quarterback Russell Wilson are already on the same wavelength, connecting for the first of what should be many 50-yard bombs at Seahawks training camp.

After wowing us all at the Combine with his cartoonish 6-foot-4, 230 pound frame and 4.33 40-yard dash, Metcalf has already gotten to work on improving his lateral agility to make him a true No. 1 receiver and not just a deep threat.
Pete Carroll has big plans in store for him, claiming that he is "even more unique" than they expected. Considering there was a period of time where we weren't entirely sure he was of this earth, that's a bold statement.
How a 74-year-old guru made DK Metcalf into more than just a physical marvel. The rookie is now an NFL-ready wide receiver "maybe even more unique" than #Seahawks thought when they drafted him two weeks ago https://t.co/jn2VJNXM2d @thenewstribune

Losing Doug Baldwin hurts, but Metcalf looks more than ready to take his throne in the Pacific Northwest.
